  • on 14 April 2025

This evening, one of our very own athletes and coaches, Olivia Knights, departs Perth on a long journey to Lima, Peru, where she will proudly represent Australia at the 2025 Junior Panamerican-Oceania Championships!

Olivia has earned selection in the Women’s Under 57kg division and enters the tournament as the 5th seed out of 20 athletes, thanks to her remarkable #20 world ranking on the IJF Junior World Ranking List.

She is set to take to the tatami this Saturday, 19 April, with matches expected to begin at approximately 10:00pm Perth time.

Watch the action live on JudoTV: https://judotv.com/competitions/pjc_oju_jun2025/overview

Please join us in wishing Olivia a safe journey and the very best of luck as she takes on the top young judoka from across the Panamerican and Oceania regions. We’re incredibly proud of her and know she’ll represent both SouthWest and Australia with courage, skill, and determination.

Let’s go, Olivia!
