description

Following the success of the Veterans Weekend last year, Judo WA is pleased to be hosting the training camp again in 2026. The 2026 Veterans Weekend will be held at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp, Hillarys, from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd November.

This weekend training event will feature 3–4 judo sessions across three days, including technical practice (ne-waza and tachi-waza), randori, and plenty of opportunities to share knowledge in a relaxed and friendly training environment. With the venue located just 50 metres from one of WA’s most pristine beaches and close proximity to great coffee, dining, and Hillarys Boat Harbour, it’s the perfect balance of training and social connection.

Following the success of 2025’s event, Judo WA invites all veteran judoka from across Australia to come together, enjoy quality training, connect socially, and make the most of this exciting weekend.

Event details and further information will finalised and made available in 2026 prior to the event, with confirmed times for each session and social activities.
