Hong Kong Judo Team Visits SouthWest Ahead of 2025 Mandurah Oceania Open

On Wednesday, 30 April, SouthWest Judo Academy had the privilege of hosting the Hong Kong Judo Team for their final training session ahead of the 2025 Mandurah Oceania Open & Cup.

In the lead-up to the IJF World Ranking event held in Mandurah, the Hong Kong delegation joined our club’s regular senior training session, creating a truly unique opportunity for our members to engage with international athletes, experience diverse fighting styles, and build connections through judo.

It was an inspiring evening filled with high-level judo, mutual respect, and shared passion for the sport.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Judo WA for their leadership in delivering the 2025 Mandurah Oceania Open & Cup and for promoting international exchange through judo. Events like these not only bring world-class competition to Western Australia but also create valuable opportunities for learning and cultural exchange right here at the club level.

To the Hong Kong team — thank you for sharing the mat with us. We hope to welcome you back to SouthWest again in the future!
